T-Mobile Legal Process

Posted by under: Non classé .

911 services are provided by your state and local government. T-Mobile phones can make 911 calls in the U.S., and 911 access is available to customers, regardless of your rate plan. The handset must be battery powered and connected to the grid to make a 911 call. Although T-Mobile is often able to transmit your phone number and/or current location to a public safety point of care (« 911 Communications Center »), in some cases, 911 Communications Center operators know your phone number or do not have information about your current location. Therefore, for 911 calls, you must provide your contact information and current location. Other third parties are involved in connecting a 911 call, and T-Mobile is not solely responsible for determining which 911 communications center your 911 call can be routed to. If you transfer a phone number to or from us, we may not be able to provide you with certain services, such as 911 location services, while the port is running. If you are outside the United States, you may need to call a number other than 911 to call emergency services. To initiate arbitration or other legal proceedings, you must serve our registered agent.

Our registered representative is Corporation Service Company and can be contacted at 1-866-403-5272. For clients in Puerto Rico, our registered agent is Fast Solutions, LLC and can be contacted at Citi Tower, 252 Ponce de Leon Avenue, Floor 20, San Juan, Puerto Rico, 00918, Phone: 1-787-688-5881. We use streaming video optimization technology in our network, which also helps ensure that available network capacity can be used to provide a good service experience to the largest number of customers. The optimization technology is designed to manage data usage over the network, reduce the risk of streaming video crashing and buffering on mobile devices, and reduce the amount of data consumed to allow other users to enjoy higher speeds and a better overall network experience. Video optimization occurs only for streams identified as video by our core packet network or when the video provider has configured protocols to self-optimize their video. While many changes to streaming video files are unlikely to be detectable, the optimization process can affect the appearance of streaming video as it appears on a user`s device. In some cases, video optimization can also identify and treat video file downloads as if they were real-time video streams. However, T-Mobile offers content providers the option to opt for a protocol to identify video downloads and ensure that they are not treated as streaming videos. Customers can have plans that offer DVD-quality video optimization (up to 1.5Mbps, typically 480p), with the option to add functionality that delivers video streams at speeds identical to HD video capabilities (typically 1080p).

Alternatively, customers may have pricing plans that offer video optimization as a customer-centric feature (e.g., « binge on ») to enable or disable DVD-quality video optimization. Some qualified video providers may choose to decline the Binge On program, see the www.t-mobile.com/offer/binge-on-streaming-video.html# list. Binge On optimization technology is not applied to these providers` video services, and high-speed data consumption continues as if the frenzy is not activated. Further information on video optimization can be found in our Open Internet Policy under www.T-Mobile.com/OpenInternet. Contact information for Phase I and II regulatory teams should be directed to the 9-1-1 Regulatory Manager at the address below. If you cannot make a voice call to 911, T-Mobile recommends that you use an Internet-based telecommunications relay service such as video relay service, IP relay service, or IP subtitled telephone service. T-Mobile`s Real-Time Text (RTT) technology is also available on T-Mobile`s network and can be used on select devices to contact 911. T-Mobile participates in the wireless emergency alert program, which is run by the federal government in parts of its network.
