Terroir :  Fine gravel, grey marls on clays and fractured limestone. Well drained ground

Vintage :  Low pluviometry in winter, similar in period of vegetation. Soft spring, sunny and soft autumn

Grape varieties :  100% Syrah

Plantation density :   4’000 plants/ha

Origin of the plants :  Massal selection

Cultivation technique :  Organic culture

Fertilizing :  Compost

Harvest :  By hand only, grapes sorted before and after destemming

Yield :  25 hl/ha

Ageing :  Malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels. Stirring of the lees for 8 months. Ageing for 15 months in oak barrels and 15 months in bottles

Character :  Dark robe. The nose is intense and complex with scents of black berries, cherries, truffles, Moka and spices. On the palate, powerful, elegant structured and full bodied with very silky tannin. The finish is very long

Ageing potential :  More than 10 years

Gastronomy :  Excellent with red meats or lamb well spicy, game with feather, or alone, to embellish a nice day
