Vintage :  Little rainfall in winter, almost none during vegetation period. In autumn, excellent and dry weather

Grape varieties :  80% Syrah, 20 % Grenache Noir of vines of over 50 years of age

Plantation density :  4’000 plants/ha

Origin of the plants :  Massal selection

Cultivation technique :  Integrated cultivation

Fertilizing :  Organic culture

Harvest :  By hand, grapes sorted before and after destemming

Yield :  22 hl/ha

Ageing :  Malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels. Ageing for 15 months

Character :  Dark robe. The nose is intense and complex with scents of black berries, cherries, truffles, Moka and spices. On the palate, powerful, elegant structured and full bodied with very silky tannin. The finish is very long

Ageing potential :  10 to 15 years

Gastronomy :  Pairs very well with lamb, wild boar, Saint Nectaire cheese and chocolate.
